I want to drift away to a place of peace,
Where love dwells and wisdom grows.
I want to get rid of the chains of the self -,
To be free from its hollow illusions.
Always crying for attention,
Never full but always wanting.
I want to learn not to take life for granted.
For none is permanent and absolute.
All is subject to the laws of life.
And no matter what, we all must die
I want to be more humble.
For all I am and all I have
Is not my own but is a gift of life
In all its shapes and forms.
I only want to bro
In love and compassion,
The refuge of my soul.
Free from ignorance.
Free from craving.
Free from hate.
One and many.
In authentic happiness.
